Beemer is a sweet 12 year old female (was Blaze's companion for the past 5 years), who thinks she's 6 years old and flirts with all the guys. She has great body control, however her mind sometimes plays tricks on her and leaves her momentarily making her forget where she is. She kind of stares into space trying to remember what she was going to do. I guess we call that "sometimer's" for humans? She's a very loving and gentle soul. She'd do well with having someone around during the day.

Blaze is an 11 year old male who we really would appreciate having someone or a group of people sponsoring him for his meals that cost us approximately $50.00 for a week supply of the food he needs to keep his digestive system healthy. Blaze is fearful when on leash and a dog is coming toward him because he's been attacked by loose dogs before. Here at our home we've introduced him to numerous dogs and he's behaved himself like a perfect gentleman every time. We presently have 8 dogs on our property, 5 of which are in his company all the time. Blaze needs to have someone available to let him out every 4 hours (except during the night when he can hold it from 11 pm to 6 am). Beyond that he gets excited and then has to piddle immediately. Blaze also has a steel plate and pins in his right hind leg which have healed wonderfully. Blaze can never be allowed off leash to run on uneven ground in the chance that it would bend the plate in his leg.

Both Beemer and Blaze are cat safe. They both are up to date on their vaccinations, and recently have had dentistry done. Beemer had 22 teeth removed and Blaze had 18 removed to his previously removed 12 during his life in his previous home.
